The mountain restaurant is located at 2344 m on the ridge between Hintisberg (in the Lütschental) and Sägistal, on the well-trodden path between Schynige Platte and Faulhorn, sourrounded by Alpine scenery, where edelweiss and gentians flower, where goats graze, snow grouse breed and the fox waits for his next prey.
